What Is Micro Penis Syndrome?

This article discusses a condition known as micro penis syndrome. If you want to find out more information about what is micro penis, what causes it and how does it affect you and your sexual life, then reading this article will certainly help you out.

What Penis Size Is Considered To Be A Micro Penis?

To begin with, micro penis means to have a very small or short penis length and girth, both in flacid and erect condition. Apart from small penile size, penis is configured completely normal.

To give you an example of the length we are talking about here: If you are an adult male and have a penis length of up to 2 inches (5 centimeters) long during erection, this can almost certainly be considered as having a micro penis.

In a similar matter, if a newborn male infant (that is not older than one (1) month) has a stretched penis length of less than 0.8 inches (2 cm) then this can be considered as micro penis syndrome as well.

The size of the penis is therefore the main factor in determining whether someone has micro penis or not.

It is believed that every six (6) out of thousand (1000) men are affected with micro penis. In other words, the occurance rate in the male population is 0,6 %.

What Causes Micro Penis?

Generally speaking, micro or small penis forms itself because male sexual organ (penis) does not develop itself properly during penile growth phases (penis formation phase (happens early in the fetal life) and penis growth phase (happens from birth to the end of the puberty)).

There are different reasons (causes) why someone’s penis does not grow properly during the above mentioned growth phases.

Most of them are associated with other health disorders such as congenital growth hormone deficiency, congenital hypopituitarism and a variety of genetic syndromes (Klinefelter syndrome, Prader-Willi syndrome, Bardet-Biedl syndrome,…).

In general, the most common reasons or causes for a micro penis happen:

  • due to decreased production of testosteron and androgen hormone in penile growth phases (that I mentioned above);
  • due to abnormal hypothalamic or pituitary function which leads to hypogonadotropic hypogonadism;
  • due to primary testicular disorder which also leads to hypergonadotropic hypogonadism.

You will find most of these reasons or causes for micro penis form itself in the time when the male child is not even born yet.

How does micro penis affect your life?

Having a very small penis can have some consequences on your life. Perhaps one of the biggest problems of micro penis is because it makes sexual intercourse difficult.

Of course, if you are a priest who does not practice sex due to your religious beliefs, then having a small penis is not really a problem, is it?

But what about the rest of us who enjoy having sex on regular basis? Can you imagine how such situation could ruin your sexual life?

For instance, how would you feel if one day your wife said to you that your penis is too small to satisfy her? Or how would you feel if your girlfriend told you that she does not feel your penis in her vagina right after you to had your first sex ever?

Obviously, it would be very unpleasant to experience such things for sure! Something like that can potentially even make you fall into depression no matter how tough you feel right now!

To conclude, micro penis syndrome (very small penis) is a condition that can have big effects on your sexual life as well as on your self esteem. But like with other problems in our lives, if you can not change them, perhaps the best thing is to just accept them and learn to live with them.

What is Male Penile Thrush?

Find out what male penile thrush is and how it affects your penis!

If you want to find out what male thrush or penile thrush is, take some time to read what is written below. You will get familiar with basic information about this penis problem such as what exactly is male penile trush and how does it affect your penile organ.

To start with, penile (or male thrush) is basically a yeast infection of the penis. Besides feelings of pain in the affected penis, other signs of this infection can be noticed on the male reproduction organ.

Male penile thrush is candida yeast infection

Before describing in more details how thrush affects your penis, there are couple of more general things you should about penile thrush or male yeast infection.

First off, Candida Albicans yeast (or yeast fungus) is present in every male and female body. Having yeast is completely natural and is not a problem. At least until the yeast in your body is kept in balance with other bacteria that prevent it from spreading.

When yeast in your penis is off balance (meaning there is more yeast fungus present than it should be), it starts growing and becomes more aggresive. When this happens in your penis, you develop male penile thrush (or yeast infection if you prefer that word).

How does penile thrush affect male penis?

In most cases men will not be aware they have a thrush or yeast infection until they start experience different problems and changes in their penis. As mentioned above, when it comes to penile thrush the main problem is sore and painful penis.

Besides having a sore and painful reproduction organ, there are a couple of more ways that thrush can affect you. Men with Candida infection often times also:

  • notice red spots in the head of the their penile organ,
  • have an itchy penis,
  • feel burning sensation in penis,

  • notice strange smell in the penis.

These are just some general ways that candida (or yeast) infection can affect your penis. If you suspect you have a male thrush, do not worry. This infection can be treated easily.

Male penile thrush CAN be treated!

What you should do at this point is go see your doctor and talk with him about it. He will provide you with a proper treatment that will remove the effects of male penile thrush from your penis.

Different Types of Penis Erection Impotence Problems

This blog post discusses different types of impotence problems that (some) men experience or have to deal with in their lives.

While all kinds of impotence problems are very hard or difficult to live with, there is a different between a young men who cant ejaculate (but can have erection) and a senior men who suffers from so called Erectyle disfunction and can keep his penis erect only for a short period time.

Therefore, we use word »impotence« to describe different situations. But nonetheless, all the difficulties or problems (that people refer to with term impotence) are in one way or another connected with penis erection.

Before taking a look at different impotence problems men experience, let me say a word or two about why is inability to have or sustain penis erection a problem in the first place.

Why is impotence such a big problem for men?

Impotence is a problem because it means you (or any other man that is »impotent«) can’t have a normal sexual intercourse. This can ofcourse further on affect your love relationships and your entire life as well.

Naturally, being able to be sexually active and having regular and unproblematic sex or intercourse is for a man not only a joy but a need indeed! It is therefore completely understandable how having problems with your penis can make your life a total disaster.

Whatever the situation or problem is (be it impotence or something else), it is important for you to not panic. Instead, visit a couple of doctors, do some reasearch on yourself and figure out what (if anything) can be done to solve the penis difficulties you are experiencing right now.

With that said, lets now see what are some of the impotence problems that men have to deal with.

What kinds of penis erection problems affect men?

1. Erectile dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction is the most common impotence problem. There are millions of men all over the world suffering from it. The degree to which ED (short for erectile dysfunction) is present in the penis varies from male to male.

Some men cant have any erection at all, some can achieve it but only at certain ocassions. There is one group of men who is under most risk to become impotent at this group consists of senior men.

2. The lack of desire to have sex

In case you lack the desire to have sexual intercourse (or to be sexually active), this is also sometimes reffered to as impotence.

It makes sense if you think about it. The lack of desire for sex means you will have a hard time producing an erect penis. I am sure you know this already, but nonetheless, a man must get turned on (or become sexually aroused) in order to produce a penis erection.

3. Peyronie’s disease

Peyronie’s disease is another condition that can potentially affect your penis and is sometimes responsible for having problems with penile potency.

The degree to Peyronie’s disease affects penile erection is different from patient to patient. Some men with Peyronie’s feel as their erection is not as strong and as sustainable as it used to be, but there are others whose erection condition is even more severe.

There are other types of penis erection problems that affect men as I have only mentioned a few of them here. If you have something to add or are interest in knowing, use the comments below.
